NATUCON

Natucon, a well established construction company in Mozambique has a wealth of experience in remote environments. The executive team consists of Kobus van den Berg, the Managing Director, Amena Ishmael Amuji the Financial Director and Corne Tewitz the Logistics expert based in Johannesburg.

Natucon, with its construction prowess, has completed a number of South Africa’s well known development landmarks and has been involved in construction within Mozambique since July 2003. Since relocating to Mozambique Natucon have taken on a number of logistically challenging projects. Having successfully completed a handful of large private residences on the remote Vilanculos Wildlife Sanctuary, Natucon then moved onto the Azura Resorts development on Benguerra Island. This exclusive 5 star hotel has since been featured in numerous travel magazines world wide and was named ‘top new beach hotel’.

After the severe 2007 cyclone, Natucon, with its superior logistic skills giving it the ability to operate in extremely remote environments, was appointed as the construction company in charge of repairing more than nine separate projects on the Vilanculos Wildlife Sanctuary in Bazaruto archipelago. With sound management and infrastructure support Natucon is growing rapidly and now employs more than 600 staff in peak periods.


Natucon recently founded a forwarding and procurement company in South Africa to source and supply goods that are not readily available in Mozambique. This express delivery service further cements Natucon’s growing reputation as one of the most reputable and reliable construction companies in Mozambique
