In 1971, brothers John and Bram Beekman established their property portfolio with their first development at Banana Beach. This development was affiliated to RCI (UK) and paved the way for them to enter the local leisure industry. It was also instrumental in setting the scene for the official launch in 1981 of the Beekman Brothers Group - a respected developer and marketing pioneer of the South African timeshare industry.

Over the next twelve years they added numerous leisure properties and residential developments increasing the size of the Beekman Brothers Group. In 1993, building on this incredible growth, the Group launched The Holiday Club, a flexible Points system.
With an exceptional track record of sustaining good management, maintenance and up-to-date resort improvements, the Beekman Brothers Group is one of the leading leisure property developers in the industry today.
