Important Information

Check-out is until 10am on the day of your departure.

Check in time is from 3pm to 6pm daily.

It is a requirement that all guests provide proof of identification in order to receive room keys. Guests may use a valid ID, driver's licence or passport as proof of identification. Guests who booked and paid for their accommodation using a credit card will need to present the same card at check-in. A security fee of R1000 will be taken as a pre-authorisation upon arrival. The resort will require a copy of the confirmation letter in order to process your check-in.

Mozambique has its own set of rules and regulations that govern driving within the country. It is strongly recommended that you familiarise yourself with these rules and regulations before entering the country with your motor vehicle. Please consultant our location page for further information.

Please be advised that as from 1 June 2015 children up to the age of 18 will be required to carry an unabridged birth certificate when travelling outside the borders of South Africa. Furthermore, sworn affidavits are required when a child is travelling with only one parent. Both parents have to complete an affidavit when a child is travelling with a guardian. Contact Home Affairs for more information on the requirements.

The resort is located in a beautiful tropical landscape in Bilene, Mozambique, and the region is a Malaria risk area. To ensure a comfortable and healthy stay, we recommend taking appropriate precautions by consulting your GP about the correct anti-malaria medication before your trip. Please also pack long-sleeve clothing and insect repellent to enjoy the outdoors. For your comfort, all our units are equipped with mosquito nets and air conditioners.

Bookings

If the reservation is cancelled within 0-21 days from occupation date, there will be a cancellation fee equal to 100% of the reservation value. Reservations cancelled 22 days or more from occupation date will receive a full refund.

Resort Rules

Please respect your fellow guests' enjoyment by ensuring that there is no noise or disturbance at any time, but especially after 10pm. The playing of loud music at any time is not acceptable. The failure to adhere to this will result in the request to please vacate the unit and resort.

Signing an indemnity form is standard practice. Only a person over 18 years may sign the Guest Registration Card at check-in. The indemnifier must remain in occupation for the duration of the stay. If the indemnifier vacates the unit, the remaining occupants may be asked to vacate the resort. The Resort accepts no liability whatsoever for any injury, death, loss, damage, expense, or accident arising from an act of God, nature, riot, theft, or government interrupted municipal, water or electricity supply services. The Resort endeavours to follow planned refurbishment schedules whenever possible but cannot guarantee that all advertised facilities will be available during your stay.

You will be personally liable for the cost of repairs or replacement arising from any damage or loss to the unit or its contents, or any costs incurred by you or your party on account during occupation of the unit and you will be charged accordingly.

Smoking is by law not allowed in the unit, on patios or in any building on the resort, other than in designated smoking areas. Should you or any of your party smoke in the unit and, in the opinion of management, the unit needs to be cleaned as a result, you will be liable for the applicable penalty fee.

Pets are not allowed at the resort, except for certified support animals. Failing to adhere to this may lead to a penalty fee and a request to remove the pet(s) from the resort.

You may not rent out the unit without the prior approval of management, nor may you "split" the period of the booking amongst separate guests not reflected on the official confirmation letter. Note that the unit is serviced for confirmed new arrivals on the stated check-in date only. Should you, in the opinion of management, fail to abide by these provisions, you, or the party claiming occupation, may be prevented from occupying and/or asked to vacate the unit, and you will be liable for the applicable penalty fee.
